More Than a Workshop. A First Step Into the Trade.
The Wella Shear Excellence Hairstylist PREP Program is designed for women who are exploring hairstyling as a career, developing their existing skills or looking for guidance toward apprenticeship opportunities.
Presented in collaboration with OPHA, Wella Professionals and My Women Support, the program combines practical learning, career information, mentorship and connections to Ontario's professional hairstyling community.
Hands-On Learning
Participate in live instruction, demonstrations and guided practice with professional tools and a mannequin.
Industry Mentorship
Learn from experienced hairstylists, educators and salon professionals who understand the realities of the trade.
A Path Forward
Explore career options, connect with potential employers and learn about possible next steps toward an apprenticeship.
